my afternoons as of late
Her name is Antigone. She is doing wonderfully. She sleeps under the covers with me cause she gets cold. I <3 her.
My new kitty! Picked her up in Phoenix yesterday. Picture was taken on the ride home so it’s a bit blurry. She’s amazing.
“Riesen for the Post-Season Hot Chocolate” was first brewed in Boston, Massachusetts during the winter of 2007 as a way to stay warm and celebrate the AFC champion New England Patriots. The drink is prepared by melting the candies over medium heat in a small saucepan, adding one cup of milk per candy. Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg to taste. For a little extra kick to the holidays, pour one shot of Kahlúa liqueur per cup. WHOA. Wants.
“How is it that Urban Outfitters website remembers for weeks what I have put in my shopping cart, but forgets in 10 minutes that I want to ‘view all’ on one page?”
-Whine by Julie
My white whine made it on the site. so proud.

Bought John Mulaney’s CD “The Top Part” on itunes this past weekend. So worth it.
The Daily Show had Peter Orszag as a guest on April 1st (Obama’s Budget Director). I was finally able to watch it at work today. He was quite impressive, I like him.
Keith and I just got stuck in our elevator together. That is never comfortable. I opened the first set of doors, but we were inbetween floors. So we waited it out and then pushed the button again. It worked. I wouldn’t know what to do if I was alone, or even if I was with Keith and it still didn’t work. The elevator is just for our house, not a building. Its not like there is a phone that a front lobby picks up somewhere.
So glad we have wine at the house now. Wine or Mead are the only home made alcoholic beverages I will drink here. Can not wait to get back to a country where alcohol is not illegal. Although, I must say I appreciate the experience. Its just fucking ridiculous.
